AI-DRIVEN QUALITATIVE DATA ANALYSIS

Synthesising large volumes of qualitative data—such as open-ended survey responses, written or verbal submissions contributed as part of consultation processes, comments on social media sites and reviews on websites —can be overwhelming and time-consuming. This hands-on course shows how modern AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, and Co-Pilot can simplify and speed up the process using software already at your fingertips.

Effective Use of Data and Analytics for Organisations

This course strengthens participants’ ability to use data effectively within an organisational context. It explores how data and analytics can support informed decision-making, while addressing legal, ethical, and cultural factors that influence appropriate data use. Participants are introduced to widely used analytical techniques and engage in practical exercises using Excel, with no prior experience in statistics required. They also learn how some of the fundamentals aspects of working with data that apply in that basic context also apply in more complex contexts up to and including AI. A design-led approach to communicating analytical insights is emphasised, with guidance on developing effective visualisations, reports, presentations, dashboards and infographics.

Using data for decisions makers

Using Data for Decision Makers equips professionals to make better, more confident decisions by combining human judgement with practical data skills. The course addresses a common challenge in organisations: having access to data but lacking the confidence, capability, or context to use it well.

Delivered as a hands-on, practical training programme, the course uses guided exercises, and applied learning in Excel to build understanding step by step. Participants explore how data can inform decisions, how to prepare and analyse it correctly, and how to navigate legal, ethical, and cultural considerations.

Tailored to suit a range of organisational contexts, the course is ideal for managers, analysts, advisors, and other professionals who come into contact with data in their workplace and want to be better equipped to use it effectively. Participants leave with practical tools, stronger data literacy, and the ability to ask better questions, interpret insights, and apply them confidently within their own organisations.
